It is a great window.  :)  

How boring does my life seem that I just blogged about a window??  Hahaha!

Until their next baby is born.  ;)

And this little sweetie is no exception … I thoroughly enjoyed both sessions I’ve had with her family (you can see their Maternity Session here) and do really hope to see them again in the future.

Here are some behind the scenes photos of me and Megan photographing 11-day-old, Mayzee…

Megan’s studio is all (fantastic) natural light, provided by a floor to ceiling window…

Yup, I get that close to shush really loudly into baby’s ear when they start to stir!  :)

Probably the best part of my job… :)

And, no … I wasn’t manually focusing there.  I forgot my 50, so borrowed Megan’s 50 1.4D, which was quite a bit smaller than I was used to.  So this was the most comfy way to hold, and balance, my camera.  ;)

I can’t say it enough, that shooting beside Megan was  dream come true.   And she is just as amazing of a friend as she is a photographer … she took me out for a pedicure right after our session!  Seriously, though, I’ll get weepy if I start talking about how much I love and miss Megan, so I won’t get into that now.  :)

I will suggest, though, that you head over to her blog and learn more about her if you haven’t already, AND head then head over to Amazon to pick up her book, Traced.  I read the entire novel in less than 36 hours because I could.not.put.it.down.  Did I mention she’s amazing?!?  :)
