We held this session at this family’s arena … an arena where Matt spent a lot of  time as a little boy, which made this session even more special to me.  And I was very thankful to have the arena (and barn) to photograph in because about 30 minutes into the session the hail began!  It didn’t stick around for too long, fortunately and I think we got some great variety thanks to our up and down weather.  ;)

I feel so blessed to be the one documenting this wonderful, growing family’s journey … and even more so to call them our friends.

And this little sweetie is no exception … I thoroughly enjoyed both sessions I’ve had with her family (you can see their Maternity Session here) and do really hope to see them again in the future.

I just adore this little guy so much, and am happy to have him on my blog yet one more day!

Max’s nursery was the cutest I’ve ever seen … and his mama share’s all about where she got the awesome decor HERE.

Yup, that was the first time he cried.  Such a wonderful little model he was, and no doubt he’s an even better son and brother!
