Looking back on the first few weeks of each of my boys’ lives, I don’t remember much.  I know I was completely humbled by the amazing gift of my new child, as well as very tired and overwhelmed…

I struggle to remember just how tiny they were – and in what seems like a blink of an eye, they are now running around the house.

Thank goodness for photographs.  When I look at my boys’ photos my mind soars back to that short period and I can practically feel them nuzzled under my neck in a itty-bitty ball.   I remember the fuzz that was their hair and their paper thin fingernails.  The flexibility of their bodies and their preciously pursed lips… and oh. those. cheeks.

At the end of my third, and last, pregnancy, I had the sudden desperate need to have a maternity session.  I knew that without photos I would soon forget.  I wanted to remember forever the amazing transformation my body went through to grow my babies.  Believe it or not, I wanted to freeze my huge, round, belly in time.

The photographs we have enable us to do that… to freeze time… and it is my focus to do that for you, with your newborn and your pregnancy.  And to do so beautifully and thoughtfully and artistically.

During the last few months of your pregnancy, documenting the beauty of your pregnant form is a step you will look back on with wonder and be so glad you did.

And during the first 2 weeks of your baby’s life, when their newness is absolutely fresh and apparent, capturing every little detail in photographs is priceless.
