A “Bless You”

        This has nothing to do with these photos, but I just have a question.

        Is it awful that I changed the subject when Kaden asked me what a ‘Bless You’ is, before having to explain to him that it is actually called a sneeze

        He’s called it a ‘Bless You’ ever since he could call it anything and I can’t bring myself to correct him.  I’ve even asked his big brothers not to.

        It’s just too stinkin’ cute to hear him say, “Mom, the chicken Bless You’ed!’.

        Am I awful??  🙂

        {Please say no!}

        And to my photography friends, these were all taken with the 70-200 at 2.8 and 200mm.  I have no idea why the light got so crazy in the last one but I borderline like it.  <3

        Have a FABULOUS weekend.

        And, HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

        • valerie a. - Ooh! I love these photos! SO so beautiful! And I was so tickled to read this post–my daughter also says after sneezing, “Mom, I had a ‘Bless You’.” I haven’t known anyone else to say that. I love it too, and never correct her! 🙂 Gorgeous pictures as usual! Oh, and PS, do you know much about Bend, Oregon? My husband and I are talking a lot lately about where we want to end up when his training is finished, and we’ve been hearing/reading great things about Bend. Have you ever been there; what were your impressions? Thanks, Lacey!ReplyCancel

          • Lacey - Hi Valerie! So cute that your daughter says it, too! <3 And YES! I know a bit about Bend. We've vacationed in the area a few times but what I know most is that my husband has said that if he were ever to move anywhere else, the ONLY place he'd move to is Bend. :) You should definitely visit the area ... it has a lot to offer!ReplyCancel

        • Tara - My youngest is six, and I think we’ve corrected most of the wrong things he was in the habit of saying. There’s still a couple, but I’ve mourned each one as it’s gone.ReplyCancel
