Lazy parenting = Lazy children. And unfortunately that is the case in our home these days. Not that I’m being lazy … I feel like I’m going non-stop every minute of the day working on sessions, a big project that is coming up, and every other odd and end. Consequently, I’m busy with everything other than entertaining my boys, it seems like. So they are left to do this for themselves, and I find that that makes them lazy and bored. Hmm.
So it is exciting for me when they come up with little activities all on their own, like tying yarn to Lego boats and sailing them in my bathtub…

I’m praying about not being such a lazy parent anymore, by the way. ![]()

Just saw this post today and I have to say though it’s true life gets busy and everything pulls us trying to steal precious time from interaction with our children, there’s definately a balance to strike. Boys need undirected play too.
I love y’alls bathroom too. And the look on Gages face, priceless.
he he he….my boys would love this!!!! That last one…oh my cuteness!!!!!!!!!!
Project??? Are you coming up with a BO session?!! I hope so!!
I’ve had four births in four days and what do I look forward to when I can finally sit down? Four days worth of “Life in the Country!” :0)
Cute boys AND i am completely jealous of your bathtub. Love the colors.
LOL! Gage’s face! This is so funny to me because two of my girls begged to get in the tub this morning to play with their Lego “boats” they made! I don’t think it’s lazy parenting at all…it’s inventive.
