Five on Friday

1) I’ve never been so behind in sharing photos … these ones are from July.  Summer should be a calmer, not so busy time for us because it is exactly the same as the rest of the year but without school.  So the fact that I’m having a hard time keeping my head afloat right now when we are not doing school, tells me that come September, something really has to change. 

2) You know that country song about “My front porch looking in” … etc?  Lately, I have sure been appreciating the view on my front porch looking out…

3)  Thank you, Mimi, for these fun and slightly frightening shoe-skates. 

4)  While I was off taking a photo of Cooper in the shoe-skates, this was happening in the kitchen…

That is sugar. 

This sweet little boy really loves sweets.

5)  Matt’s sister, Marilee and her husband Josh and daughter Olivia have been staying with us for the past few days and it has been so wonderful to spend time with them!  They live way too far away in Kentucky so their visit was quite a blessing to us!  Here’s one shot of Matt’s mom (Mimi, the giver of the shoe-skates) with her 4 grand-babies …

6) My boys and I are heading up to Seattle for our annual week-long summer visit.  Full of swimming, a trip to a kiddy farm/playland place and to the beach house.

Oh, and a little trip for me down to CALIFORNIA…  Sacramento to be exact … to Folsom to be even more exact.  I’m sure many of you know a very popular photographer from Folsom, California … Megan Squires anyone??   I get to take a trip to see her and a few other wonderful friends of mine from Clickin Moms.  I cannot wait!

I’ll have lots to share from this trip coming up, including photos from a newborn session Megan and I will be doing together.

And when I get back, I’ll be one year older, too.
