Here are snaps from our Fourth … we survived a busy day (by our standards) but since I need to be packing, here are lots of photos and just a few words. 
First up was the parade. Naturally, while I tried to find a spot for us to sit, G & C found a tree to climb. If Kaden and I could have joined them, this would have been a pretty awesome viewpoint …
But, we settled for a sidewalk instead …
Waiting and watching for our friends to meet us …
And entertaining them with funny faces when they arrived …
Once the parade began, it was all about waving hands and flags and running for candy …
After the parade (where thankfully no one got sick), we headed a huge BBQ chicken picnic …
… and then to the Rodeo. This is as far as I got with my camera because they forbid my little love from entering the arena. Whatever.
My sweet husband took it ALL the way back to my car and I was forced to finally figure out the camera on my phone to document that we were there.
Our last stop of the day was to a relaxing dinner with friends …
… with homemade strawberry ice cream for dessert…
… and a few fun fireworks where the cherry-on-top.
This was a day absolutely chalk full of fun, friends, and festivities…
