Kicking off the Fourth…

If there is ever a fun time to live where we do, it is around the 4th of July.  This town does it up right with parades, concerts, fireworks for several nights, a carnival, and a rodeo that has been going on for a reeeally long time.   You name it and this town’s got it for the 4th of July.

Usually (as in, the last 28 of my 30 years) I have been at out Beach House in Washington for the 4th but that’s happening this weekend instead … so here we are!

We kicked it off last night at the Kiddie Parade.  The boys were excited about the parade, but even more so about the carnival going on behind us and the candy being thrown at them … here are some snapshots from our evening…

We’re heading out early to start off with another parade and a day full of celebration.

We’ll see if we survive the masses and how Mr. C’s tummy feels.
