Is it official??

When we got back from the Beach House, I told you that Kaden was stepping up his game and doing some pretty ‘Big Boy’ things … like, using the toilet! Then, not long after I caught him here …

Snapped these shots and prepared to have to tell you, the world-wide-web, that he was not in fact potty training. I’d hate to mislead you.

But now, I’m pretty sure we actually are officially potty training. The other day at the pool he made me get out and take him to the bathroom so he could go, three times! And I hear him doing his business in the bathroom all by himself throughout the day. And he tells me to leave the bathroom when he’s ‘going’ because it is “too bah-bah (aka: gross) for you”.

I hesitate to say we’re officially doing this because that adds pressure and expectation and I’m just not sure I’m ready for that with my 2 year old! But, whatever. He’s definitely taking the lead on this one, so who am I to argue??
