Over the last 7-years, our four-legged first born has taken quite the back seat to his little two-legged brothers. He’s so patient with us though, and still, at the age of 9.5, gets puppy-dog excited when we come outside. He’s just the best dog ever and when we recently thought that he may be battling bone cancer it broke my heart to think we were loosing him.
It turned out though, that his night-time critter-chasing had just gotten the best of him, and he had ruptured the tendons in his knees (probably by tripping while running).

A trip to the vet, anti-inflammatories, some pain-meds and lots of bed-rest (ie. laying on the laundry room floor) have him almost back to normal!

I think he loved his bed-rest time and you’d better believe this pup is getting LOTS more attention now!
