Firewood Time

Its that time of the year around here.  Firewood-time.  Falling trees, cutting the wood, stacking the pieces.  This may not sound glorious or interesting or blog-worthy but for us, who live off of wood heat, it is a way of life.

And for me, it is a chance to watch my husband in his element, in his ‘manly-man’ glory.  Doing something that I could never dream of doing.

And watching my little boys watch their Dad in total amazement.  Doing something that they absolutely dream of doing someday…

And it is a perfect reminder to me of how much I depend on my man for so many things, and of how graciously, lovingly and humbly he provides for us…

Your little men look like such capable helpers. I think the images of all three in a row watching the tree fall are my faves :)

Great photos! The first one with Matt and Kaden is just precious. Of course, I’m partial to the one with YOU and Kaden :) The three boys in the grass watching their dad at work is priceless!
