One thing I’ve noticed lately is how little one-on-one time I spend with each of my boys. They are usually all together with me, or off doing their own thing – together. But it is amazing how fulfilling it is to spend even 30 minutes of time alone with each of my kids. It sounds crazy, but I feel like I see the real them during this time.

And they get to see the me that’s not just mom, rushing around trying to get things done, telling them what to do and what not to do, cooking, cleaning, working, teaching. But someone who they can relax with, talk and laugh with.
That is so crazy important.

Wonderfully wise words, precious girl. And just look at sweet Doot. He can play to your camera or totally ignore it. Great photos of a very special boy!
XO to Doot from Grammie
XOXO to Coop and Tado too
I agree, it is so important to spend that one-on-one time with them. It’s hard to do sometimes with all of the other stuff going on….but, gosh. I sure do love it. I come away from our time together just loving that little one even more. If that’s possible.
