Lego-land…

We’re still praying for Kaden to come out of his struggle with pneumonia … I’ve been so consumed with thinking about him that I feel the need to just spend a few minutes sharing some images of Gager.  My oldest son who has been so helpful and strong during Kaden’s illness and Cooper’s injury…

If there were only one toy that I could chose for my boys to play with, it would be Legos.   They are such a quality toy, and so good for the imagination, for following directions, and for fine motor skill practice.  I think Gage would agree.  His Legos are his little treasures and as I watch him work  I recognize even more how he is so much like me.  When he starts a project of building one of his sets, he cannot think about anything else until he completes it.  Multi-tasking is not his strong-suit.

Cooper thinks he’s into Legos, but he’d just as much enjoy stretching out orange goo as he would playing with a Lego toy that Gage has built for him …

It’ll be interesting to see if Cooper grows to enjoy building as much as Gage.  I sure hope he does (or Kaden does) or we’ll have a LOT of Legos to deal with.

Or I’ll just take up Lego building as another hobby!
