As usual, our trip up to Seattle (from Oregon) was great. Great as always to spend time with my family. Great to photograph other things outside the walls of my home. Um, great to just get out of my house. ![]()
I knew it was going to be a wonderful trip when this was the first frame I shot …

And this was the fourth …

We spent some time at my brother and sister-in-laws’ house on Friday, before making the final 5 minutes of our 3.5 hour drive over to my parents’ (aka: Grammie and Papa).

Saturday was a play day. We played hard at this free … fun … play place (I’m still not exactly sure what this event was… but it was awesome, and free). Forgive the poor lighting/color in some of these. ![]()

I can’t quite get over my nephew’s curly hair! It was NOT curly the last time I saw him …

Did I mention they had fun there??
Saturday night, the adults played and went to see my oldest brother and his bandmates perform at the Hard Rock Cafe downtown Seattle. It was pretty exciting for me to see this and even though I’m not a hard rock type of gal (surprised?
) I really enjoyed it.

Anyway, Grammie and Papa’s house was still the highlight for my boys. The attention, laughter, music, and love is all sweeter at Grammie and Papa’s.

If Saturday was play day, Sunday was shooting day … but for me that is still playing. I had 2 sessions and will share the highlights from those very soon!
As usual, great things happen in Seattle!

OMG – these pictures are so adorable!
The event was put on by UW Medical Center and Valley Medical Center’s program, “Pitter Patter” at the Showare Center in Kent, WA.
Such great photos of a great weekend Lacey!
They’re all great shots but that one of your mom mushing up your little one – oh my gosh! the sweetness of it!
Awesome shots! Um, who doesn’t love free! They looked they had a blast but this may be unconventional, but my favorite shot is of Kayden drinking out of the mason jar… thatta boy!
Oh! That baby is soooo crazy cute!!!
What a great shot.
It was an action-packed weekend. I’m thankful for your photos to help me remember all that happened. My five grandsons just couldn’t be any cuter
XOXOXO to GCKHG from Grammie
