Five on Friday

1.  I just received about 250 photos for scrapbooking and about 50 photos to update those on my walls and the task of putting them in their homes is a bit daunting.  Soon I am going to share with you the process I go through for doing this.  As much as I love this blog, my photos have to have a more tangible home than cyber-space.  

2.  I am absolutely amazed by how tan my usually pastey-white kids can get, while constantly wearing +50 sunblock.  At first I thought it was just dirt, but after their baths I see the drastic farmer’s tan lines (and some caused by Bandaids).  However, the bruises on their legs DO make them look tanner than they probably actually are.

3.  I posted photos from our visit to the Oregon Gardens on Monday and somehow left this one out!  Crazy, because it was my favorite!

4.  I am NOT one for change, but for some reason I’ve decided to uproot my established editing workflow of Bridge/ACR/CS5, and learn Lightroom3.  I’ve heard immeasurably great things about this program, and I am learning the ropes through CMU’s Lightroom 101. So, I couldn’t really have a better way to master it.

However, I am overwhelmed and find myself tiptoeing back to Bridge to upload my photos … which, by the way, I’m not taking many.  I’ve heard too many times lately from my boys {hmm….*Cooper*} that I love my camera more than them.  So, the camera is taking a break unless absolutely necessary, like capturing them wrestling with their dad last night…

5.  And my camera got LOTS of attention on Saturday, photographing the sweet baby girl who had been inside this gorgeous belly …

Here’s a sneak peek of Addison {in a hat her mama provided!} … she was quite possibly our most cooperative model yet!
