Mountain Lions

Almost always, the photos that I take of my kids are with ‘me’ in mind.  What moments do I want to remember?  What stories do I want to tell them?  Then, I put them on here, and I forget that maybe the rest of you might not think these stories are quite as memory-worthy as I do. :)

Thank you for putting up with my mommy-goggles…

These may fall in that category.  I thought it was pretty hilarious that my boys wanted to put on lion costumes and, well, be mountain lions.  Or pumas, depending on who you ask.  ETA:  I have to reiterate … this was all their idea … totally not mine. :)

This big lion was showing the little bitty lion who was boss.  Rather inappropriately.

He lost his tribe.

I’m not sure if I will really be that bummed out when these two grow out of these costumes … the ‘manes’ sort of sick me out.

Mommy-goggles or not, I can’t quite get enough of Kaden in his costume, though!

We do, too, Debbie, which is why I thought this was particularly funny. :) You remember my cougar story, right? I’m STILL upset that I messed up the shot! :(

I’m still smiling over these photos, even after viewing them “several” times. Gage still enjoying the fun even at six years old, Cooper’s flaired nostrils and oh-so-straight hair under that fuzzy mane, and cutie-pie Kaden. My-oh-my!

XOXOXO to Grammie’s three mountain lions (or pumas)

When I first read the title, I thought you had some real mountain lions in your yard and was thinking how brave you are to live out there…Then I scrolled down :0)

Oh goodness!! This is too cute!! I love how Kaden is looking down…that’s a real lion right there. ;) My girls like to play doggies. They even take each other out on a leash to potty. I’ll trade you the lion costumes for a few leashes. haha!
