A year and a half ago, I had my first professional photo session … as a client. It was my own maternity session and while at the photographer’s home I saw a photo she took of her son in a hay field. It was that photo that kicked me into gear to learning how to use my DSLR (a Canon XS at the time) and I promised myself that once someday I’d photograph my own boys in our hay field … I was totally inspired.
So, this was our attempt … Meyers-boy style.

And a few of Gage after his brothers had had enough …

I love that I feel JOY in my heart when I look at these. And maybe these will inspire someone else to plop their kids down in a field of hay and snap away!

This made my evening! :0 ) Your boys are adorable.
Oh, how fun! They are such handsome kids! You did an amazing job!
p.s. fields are the best!
Gosh, how gorgeous are they!! Perfect field for the perfect boys.
So great! Can you send some of those beautiful fields to San Diego?
So great!!
These made me smile Lacey. Your boys are adorable and the pictures are great. You need a canvas of at least one of these for your home.
Adorable !!!! You are my favorite photographer
Yes, I feel the JOY too. Wonderful, wonderful photos. And check out Doot’s 6-pack!
Obviously, 18-month-old Tado wasn’t very cooperative, as was evident in Gage’s expression as his baby brother walked away from the session. Cooper is a real crack-up.
Thank you for starting my Monday morning with many smiles
XOXOXO to GCK from Grammie
L.O.V.E these!!!! I am a big fan of field pictures. Lacey, you are amazing. These took me back, my favorite picture of my brothers and I is sitting in a hay field : )
