I hope you had a wonderful Easter! Ours was pretty tame compared to how the Holiday was spent during my childhood, but, it was a GOOD day. ![]()
The night before Easter, I took this photo…

… and imagine a mama’s delight when her boys rush out of Sunday School the next day with their project in hand with THAT verse on it! Love it!
After we got home from church, we watched what was left of the Mars Hill live-feed of their service at Qwest Field in Seattle. We popped in right at the end of the sermon, but were able to watch over 500 people get baptized. I’m not sure I had a dry eye the whole time.

Then, thanks to the boys’ Mimi, we were able to have an Easter Egg hunt. I was seriously lacking in the planning department for Easter, and was thankful she came through for us!

Kaden trying to steal Cooper’s loot…

Gage sorting his candy for the first of many times…

Here’s my disclaimer for the following photos… I hesitate to share them because they are definitely not ‘professional’ caliber… mostly because I would not generally just plop kiddos down on the stairs to take their photos. But, actually, I don’t photograph little kids, so oh well. ![]()
This was a situation where I wanted a shot of them together and ideally would have gone outside, but surprise surprise, it was raining. I got one shot and was ready to move on, when Matt rearranged them and got them laughing.
I got sucked right in and snapped away – totally losing all I know about composition … I was just a little distracted by the fact that all three of my boys were sitting still (relatively) together for more than 1 minute. And I was a little mesmirized by the sound of their howling laughter, directed at their dad.
So, forgive me, and try to just focus on their smiles. ![]()

Can’t you just HEAR them laughing??
And a few of them by themselves… mostly just to document that they do, every once in a while get out of their jammies (or in Cooper’s case, actually wear clothes…)

{This kid needs a hair cut…}

Again, I hope you had a wonderful Easter, celebrating Jesus. ![]()
