Lashes… Just One Small Detail…

I believe that using photography to capture small details of a person is just as important as using it to capture moments in time.  And lately, I’ve been inspired by other photographers to really embrace this belief.

One small detail of Kaden’s that I’ve had yet to highlight in photographs is his eyelashes…

…they’ve been Cocker-Spaniel-long since he was a bitty baby, but they are so blonde that it is very difficult to actually SEE them in a picture. 

And until I converted these to black and white his lashes disappeared into his creamy skin…

Here’s to noticing, embracing, and capturing the small little details of life.
